Review into Gregory Parsons case suspended

Justice Minister Paul Dicks advised today that retired Supreme Court Justice Nathaniel Noel has suspended his review of the Gregory Parsons matter in deference to court proceedings commenced by Mr. Parsons.

Government had requested Justice Noel to conduct a thorough and comprehensive review of the investigation and prosecution in this case and to make recommendations concerning compensation.

Mr. Dicks said as the case is now before the court, it would be inappropriate for government to make any further comment on the matter.
