NOTE TO EDITORS:

Sandra C. Kelly, Minister of Industry, Trade and Technology, and PCL Industrial Constructors invite all media to a visit of the Bull Arm site on Wednesday, June 30.

You are invited to take a first hand look at the quality work being completed at this world class facility. Minister Kelly will discuss highlights of the exciting activities taking place at Bull Arm, and the opportunities for this facility to become globally competitive. During the visit, Minister Kelly will also recognize the productivity of employees, and the quality of their work, with a special presentation.

Jim Rowley, representing Terra Nova, will speak on behalf of Gary Bruce, chairman of the Terra Nova Management Committee.

The event will begin with a barbeque at 11:45 a.m. with PCL, media and invited guests. An opportunity for interviews and a tour of the facilities will be provided for all media following the presentations.

Transportation will be provided for media representatives, with a bus leaving the Hotel Newfoundland at 10 a.m. on Wednesday. The bus will later depart from Bull Arm at 2:00 p.m. (Travelling time is approximately 1.5 hours each way).
