NOTE TO EDITORS: House of Assembly to sit in session to commemorate 50th anniversary of Confederation

NOTE TO EDITORS:

At 4:30 p.m on Thursday, December 16, the House of Assembly will sit in session to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Confederation. At that time, a plaque to mark the 50th anniversary will be unveiled.

Lloyd Snow, Speaker of the House of Assembly, together with Premier Brian Tobin and Ed Byrne, Leader of the Opposition, has invited former members of the House of Assembly, as well as families of former members who were elected in 1949, to join them for this event.
