NOTE TO EDITORS:

There will be a photo opportunity on Tuesday, August 24, at Fong's Restaurant in Carbonear with R. John Efford, Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture, and members of the Baccalieu Board of Economic Development. Mr. Efford and the board will sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Department of Fisheries and Aquaculture and the Baccalieu Board of Economic Development, which outlines a negotiated agreement by the two parties to work together on economic development activities for the area that pertains to the fishery.

The media are invited to the official signing which will take place at 3:30 p.m.
