Bonavista Bay and surrounding area residents organize rally

A rally is being organized by concerned citizens in the Bonavista Bay and surrounding areas to support Fisheries and Aquaculture Minister John Efford in his ongoing battle to have federal Fisheries and Oceans Minister David Anderson recognize and take action on the serious issue of seal predation on Atlantic Canada's groundfish stocks, especially cod.

The rally will be held at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 23, in the Bayview Heights Academy in Gambo.

Media are invited to attend and also asked to relay this invitation to their audiences.
