NOTE TO EDITORS:

Newfoundland and Labrador Premier Brian Tobin and Quebec Premier Lucien Bouchard will meet today, Friday, December 10, in St. John's to discuss the Churchill River Power Project.

A photo opportunity will take place 12 noon in the office of Premier Tobin, Eighth Floor, East Block, Confederation Building. Due to space constraints, media are asked to meet in the Media Centre, Main Floor, East Block, Confederation Building for escort to the Premier's Office. Following this working session, a media availability will take place at 3:30 p.m. in the foyer of the House of Assembly, Confederation Building.

Leaders of both the Labrador and Quebec Innu will join the discussion at 4 p.m. at which time media are again asked to meet in the Media Centre for escort to the photo opportunity.
