Premier congratulates council on tax policy report

Premier Brian Tobin today congratulated the Advisory Council on the Economy and Technology (ACET) for the timely delivery of its report on Provincial Tax Review.

"Chairman Peter Woodward and the other members of the council are to be commended for their thoughtful deliberations throughout the review and public consultation," said Premier Tobin. "Government will now give careful consideration to the council's recommendations."

The Premier said the council's tax review in addition to other provincial public consultations, such as the ongoing consultation on jobs and growth, will provide valuable input and suggestions that will shape government's economic and social policy for the future.
