NOTE TO EDITORS:

Premier Brian Tobin and the Honourable George Baker, Minister of Veteran Affairs and Secretary of State for the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency, will hold a news conference on Monday, August 30 at 10 a.m. at the Higdon's Seafood Ltd. fish plant in New Harbour, Trinity Bay. This plant is owned by Woodman's Sea Products Ltd. The purpose is to announce funding for a fisheries diversification initiative. A bus for the media will leave at 8 a.m. from the front of the Confederation Building.
