Minister announces tentative agreement
Treasury Board President Anna Thistle announced today that a tentative agreement has been reached with the Association of Allied Health Professionals (AAHP). The contract will provide for a seven per cent wage increase over a 39-month period. This is in line with other collective agreements signed.
"I am pleased that the parties were able to successfully negotiate a settlement in this round of negotiations," the minister said. The AAHP represents approximately 400 health care professionals including physiotherapists, dieticians and pharmacists.
