Intergovernmental Affairs Minister attending meeting in Regina

Intergovernmental Affairs Minister Walter Noel is in Regina today attending a meeting on behalf of Premier Tobin between premiers, territorial leaders and leaders of national aboriginal organizations.

The purpose of the meeting in Regina is to follow-up on issues pertinent to Aboriginal Peoples discussed at the 1998 Annual Premiers' Conference in Saskatoon, including the development of a National Aboriginal Youth Strategy.
