Julie Bettney, Minister of Human Resources and Employment and Minister Responsible for the Status of Women, and Senator Joan Cook, on behalf of Pierre S. Pettigrew, Minister for Human Resources Development Canada, together with Brenda Grzetic and Joyce Hancock, co-chairs of the Women in Resource Development Committee will hold a news conference today (Monday, March 8) at 11:30 a.m. at the offices of the Provincial Advisory Council on the Status of Women, 131 LeMarchant Road. At that time, details on funding to increase women's participation in the natural resource sector will be released.
