Discovery Day - June 21, 1999
In response to a number of general inquiries the Minister of Environment and Labour, Oliver Langdon, wishes to advise that Monday, June 21, is not a public holiday under the Labour Standards Act. Retailers are also permitted to open on Monday, June 21 in accordance with the Shops Closing Act.
