(Office of the Chief Electoral Officer)

The following is being distributed at the request of the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer:

Voting by special ballot (mail in)

For the first time in a provincial general election in Newfoundland and Labrador, a special ballot (mail in) will be available. Electors who have reason to believe that they will have difficulty voting on the days set for the ordinary poll or advance poll may apply to vote by special ballot (mail in).

The special ballot (mail in) will replace the setting up of special polls which was done for previous elections. However, the special ballot (mail in) does not replace ordinary or advance polls.

To obtain an application for a special ballot (mail in) kit, please contact either:

(1) The Office of the Chief Electoral Officer
      39 Hallett Crescent
      St. Johns, NF

      or
