Funding for Renovations and Upgrades at College of the North Atlantic

Government is committing $1.2 million for renovations and upgrades to the Prince Phillip Drive campus of the College of the North Atlantic.

"$1.1 million will be used to upgrade and modernize the main electrical distribution system," said Judy Foote, Minister of Education. "The budgeted amount includes construction and engineering. Tenders for the work will be called in the coming year."

"The remaining $100,000 will provide for planning for the future re-development of the facility," said Minister Foote. This includes the potential to relocate the Medical Sciences program from the existing Topsail Road Campus to the Prince Phillip Drive campus.

The College of the North Atlantic Cabot District's main facility, the Prince Philip Drive Campus, was opened in 1963.
