Lloyd Matthews, Minister of Works, Services and Transportation, today announced that a $2,256,372.40 contract has been awarded to B.C.L. Construction Ltd. of St. John's for construction of Conception Bay South By-Pass Road from Tilleys Road to Legion Road, km 28.6 to km 31.2.

Mr. Matthews said that the work will commence immediately and be completed by September 30, 1999.
