Gerry Reid, MHA - Twillingate and Fogo, and Lloyd Matthews, Minister of Works, Services and Transportation, today announced that a $384,750 contract has been awarded to Straight Shore Construction Ltd. of Musgrave Harbour for the dredging at ferry terminals located at Man O'War Cove, Farewell and Change Islands, including repairs to loading ramps at Change Islands and ramp widening at Farewell.

Mr. Reid said that the work will commence immediately and will be completed by June 17, 1998.
