Lloyd Matthews, Minister of Works Services and
Transportation, and Don Whelan, MHA - Harbour Main-Whitbourne,
today announced that a $1,193,960 contract has been awarded to
Pennecon Limited of St. John's for paving of the Trans Canada
Highway from Goulds Brook to Triangular Pond, km 68.2 to km 77.7.
Mr. Whelan said that work will commence in June
1998 and be completed by September 30, 1998.
