The following is being distributed at the request of Sport Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Hoop Tryouts The Newfoundland and Labrador Basketball Association will conduct an open tryout camp for the Provincial Boys Juvenile Team at Elwood High School in Deer Lake on Saturday, February 14 between the hours of 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. The camp will be conducted by Jim Feltham and a $10 registration fee will be required upon arrival. The camp is open to athletes residing west of Gander (inclusive) and who are under the age of 17 as of December 31, 1997 (born in 1981 or later). Athletes selected to the team will represent the province at the Eastern Canadian Juvenile Championships slated for Prince Edward Island in late July.
