The following is being distributed at the request of Sport Newfoundland and Labrador:

The Newfoundland and Labrador Volleyball Association registration deadline for the co-ed Senior Volleyball Championships is April 3. The event will be held in Clarenville, April 17 and 18. The registration fee is $185 per team.

The registration deadline for the Pre-Bantam Volleyball Championships is April 8. There will be five championships held for this age group across the Island. The Western female championships will be hosted by G. C. Rowe Junior High, the Western male championships will be hosted by Presentation in Corner Brook. In Central, the female event will be hosted at Lumsden School Complex, however there was no host for the Central male event, therefore teams must compete in either the West or East events. The Eastern events will be hosted by Bell Island for the girls and Conception Bay South for the males. To be eligible for these events athletes must be born in 1985 or later. The registration fee is $100 per team and all events will be held on the weekend of April 24 and 25.
