The following is being distributed at the request of Newfoundland and Labrador High School Athletic Federation:

Lewisporte Regional High School will host the 1998 Newfoundland and Labrador High School Athletic Federation "AAAA" provincial table tennis championship on Friday and Saturday, May 1 and 2. The event, which is jointly sponsored by KEYIN TECH and NEWFOUNDLAND AND LABRADOR SCHOOL MILK FOUNDATION, will see approximately 60 high school student athletes (male and female) converge on Lewisporte for the prestigious event.

Teams and/or players from:

- King Academy, Harbour Breton
- Grant Collegiate, Springdale
- Legailais Memorial High School, Isle aux Morts
- Glovertown High School, Glovertown
- Bishop White All Grade School, Port Rexton
- Assumption Collegiate, Stephenville
- Charisma Collegiate, Springdale
- John Watkins Academy, Hermitage
- Lewisporte Regional High School, Lewisporte

will complete for the "AAAA" provincial table tennis banner and NLHSAF medals.

Team play will commence on Friday, May 1, at 9 a.m. and continue through the day until 5 p.m. A banquet is planned for 7 p.m. with a dance to follow at 9.

Individual action begins on Saturday, May 2 at 8 a.m. with competition in boys and girls singles, boys and girls doubles and mixed doubles.

Medal presentation will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 2.
