Contracts awarded in St. Andrews and St. Fintan's.
Kevin Aylward, MHA-Stephenville-St. Georges, is pleased to announce, on behalf of the Minister of Municipal and Provincial Affairs, Art Reid the following infrastructure projects in the district.
Leonard Chaisson Construction has been awarded the contract to construct a pumphouse in the Local Service District of St. Andrews. The contract is valued at $20,181.
In the Local Service District of St. Fintan's Gill Trucking and Logging has been awarded the contract to supply equipment valued at $8,481 and Crane Supply have been awarded the contract for the supply of poly pipe and fittings in the amount of $12,283.
"It is good to see these communities receiving the support they need to ensure services are maintained and improved where ever possible," said Mr. Aylward.
