NOTE TO EDITORS:
Minister Bettney to launch employment Internet site
On Tuesday, June 30, 11 a.m., at the A.C. Hunter Library, Arts and Culture Centre in St. John's, Julie Bettney, Minister of Human Resources and Employment, will join John Snow of the Provincial Information and Library Resources Board and Bob Allison of the Canadian Work Information Network to launch NLWIN (the Newfoundland and Labrador Work Information Network).
NLWIN is an Internet WWW site that provides access to information on career employment planning for all residents of Newfoundland and Labrador.
During the launch there will be a short demonstration of the NLWIN site using a projector and large screen. Refreshments will follow.
