NOTE TO EDITORS: Media are invited to hear the opening remarks of the Julie Bettney, Minister of Human Resources and Employment, and Joan Marie Aylward, Minister of Health and Community Services, at the Hotel Gander, Confederation Room on Monday, March 30 at 1:30 p.m. Both ministers will be addressing staff of the Department of Human Resources and Employment and those moving to Health and Community Services (effective April 1, 1998) at the opening of their two-day professional development conference. During the sessions, staff will discuss mandates of the new departments and also set the direction for the future.
