The public hearings scheduled for Wabush/Labrador City on January l8 and Churchill Falls on January 19 by the Select Committee of the House of Assembly enquiring into the arming policy of the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary have been cancelled. The committee did not receive any notification of intention to make a submission from members of the general public in those areas.
