NOTE TO EDITORS:

Joan Marie Aylward, Minister of Health and Community Services, will hold a news conference tomorrow (June 30) to introduce the provincial International Year of Older Person's (IYOP) Committee for the upcoming celebration in 1999. The minister will also introduce the provincial representative on the Canada Coordinating Committee for the IYOP and discuss some of the planning which will take place prior to next year. The members of the planning committees will also be available to the media. The news conference will be held in the Media Centre, Main Floor, East Block, Confederation Building, at 12 noon.
