New chairperson for Central West Health Board

The Department of Health and Community Services recently announced that Verdun Young is the new chairperson for the Central West Health Board.

Mr. Young has served as a member of the Central West Health Board since 1994 and previously served on the Grand Falls and District Health Care Board. He resides in Grand Falls-Windsor and has already assumed his new position.

Joan Marie-Aylward, Minister of Health and Community Services said, "I'd like to thank Mr. Young for volunteering his time. His experience will bring a strong background to the chairperson position. I wish Mr. Young and the other members of the board every success during their terms on the board."
