NOTE TO EDITORS:

Premier Brian Tobin and Charles Furey, Minister of Mines and Energy, will hold a news conference at 1 p.m. today (Tuesday, November 17) in the Media Centre, Main Floor, East Block, Confederation Building to provide details concerning the legislation An Act to Amend the Mineral Act. The legislation will be introduced into the House of Assembly on Tuesday, November 17. Also in attendance will be James Chalker, legal council for the government.
