Premiers to announce results of discussions on the further development
of the Churchill River system

Premier Brian Tobin, Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, and Premier Lucien Bouchard, Government of Quebec, will hold a news conference at 2:10 p.m. AST on Monday, March 9 at the Community Centre in Churchill Falls to announce the results of discussions on the further development of Churchill River system.

Charter flights for the event will be departing from Newfoundland and Quebec on Monday morning and returning Monday evening. Space is limited. Contact one of the government representatives below by 2:30 p.m. EST on Thursday, March 5 to reserve space for your media outlet. Further information will be provided upon confirmation of attendance.
