Don Whalen, MHA - Harbour Main - Whitbourne, and Lloyd Matthews, Minister of Works, Services and Transportation, today announced that a $711,515 contract has been awarded to Mariner Engineering & Construction Ltd. of St. John's, for Part A: Construct Bridge and Part B: Grading and Paving of Approaches on South River, R70 - Clarkes Beach, NF.

The minister said that work will immediately commence and will be completed no later than August 31, 1998.
