Gander, Beaton Tulk, MHA - Bonavista North, and Lloyd Matthews,
Minister of Works, Services and Transportation, today announced
that a $3,743,591.25 contract has been awarded to Western
Construction Company Limited of Stephenville Crossing for
upgrading and resurfacing R320 from Traverse Brook towards
Trinity including work at James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander.
The minister said
that work will immediately commence and will be completed by
September 30, 1998.
