A $997,974 contract has been awarded to Penny Paving of St.
John's to pave Pleasantview Road Route 350-17 from its
intersection with Route 350 to Pleasantview for a total distance
of 8.7 kilometres.
The announcement was made by Roger Grimes, MHA - Exploits, on
behalf of Lloyd Matthews, Minister of Works, Services and
Transportation.
This is a joint project between Transport Canada and the
Government of Newfoundland and Labrador under the Atlantic
Freight Transaction Program.
Mr. Grimes said that this project should be completed by
September 30, 1997.
