A $302,370 contract has been awarded to Bennett's Construction
and Supplies Limited of Grand Bank, Newfoundland to replace
culverts at four locations on Route 210 between Marystown and
Grand Bank and to construct a gabion retaining wall on Route 220
in Lawn.
The announcement was made today by Judy Foote, MHA - Grand
Bank, on behalf of Lloyd Matthews, Minister of Works, Services
and Transportation.
This is a joint project between Transport Canada and the
Government of Newfoundland and Labrador under the Freight
Assistance Program. Ms. Foote said the project is to be completed
by August 31, 1997.
