Freight acceptance begins for Northern Labrador

The following is being distributed at the request of Marine Atlantic:

Marine Alantic is now accepting freight at Lewisporte and Goose Bay terminals for destinations in Northern Labrador.

John Baker, general manager of the coastal service, says ice conditions north of Groswater Bay have improved significantly in recent days. He does not anticipate any difficulty in reaching Nain early next week. MV Northern Ranger left St. Anthony Tuesday morning on her first trip of the season.
