Lloyd Matthews, Minister of Works, Services and Transportation, and Doug Oldford, MHA - Trinity North, are pleased to announce that a contract, No. 3-97 TSC, replace CNR overpass structure on TCH at Clarenville with 3,000 mm diameter pipe, km 188; has been awarded to J-1 Contracting Ltd. of Clarenville.

This is a joint project between Transport Canada and the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador under the Trans Canada Highway Agreement.

This contract has a value of $132,202 and J-1 Contracting Ltd. was the lowest of nine bidders. This project is to be completed September 30, 1997.
