Lloyd Matthews, Minister of Works, Services and Transportation, is pleased to announce that a contract, No. 10-97 TSG, construction of a prestressed concrete overpass at Allandale Road Interchange and the Outer Ring Rd., km 12, has been awarded to Merit Management Inc. of Deer Lake.

This is a joint project between Transport Canada and the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador under the Trans Canada Highway Agreement.

This contract has a value of $948,495 and Merit Management Inc. was the lowest of six bidders. This project is to be completed October 31, 1997.
