Lloyd Matthews, Minister of Works, Services and Transportation, and Don Whelan, MHA - Harbour Main-Whitbourne, are pleased to announce that a contract, No. 13-97 TSG, construction of a reinforced concrete structure on R70, Conception Bay North By-Pass at Hallstown, has been awarded to Trident Construction Limited of St. John's.

This is a joint project between Transport Canada and the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador under the Regional Trunk Roads Agreement.

This contract has a value of $416,318 and Trident Construction Limited was the lowest of six bidders. This project is to be completed September 15, 1997.
