Lloyd Matthews, Minister of Works, Services and Transportation, and Ralph Wiseman, MHA - Topsail, are pleased to announce that a contract, No. 002-97 TSG, construction of an overpass at the intersection of the Outer Ring Road and Donovan's Access, has been awarded to Merit Management Inc. of Deer Lake.

This is a joint project between Transport Canada and the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador under the Trans Canada Highway Agreement.

This contract has a value of $1,746,590 and Merit Management Inc. was the lowest of eight bidders. This project is to be completed October 31, 1997.
