The following is being distributed at the
request of Marine Atlantic:
Weather forces revised gulf ferry schedule
Marine Atlantic's gulf ferry service is operating on a revised
schedule due to weather delays of the last several days.
There was a crossing from Port aux Basques this afternoon.
Next sailing from that port will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday.
There will be crossings from North Sydney today and Friday at
11:30 p.m.
Beyond that, anyone planning travel on the weekend is being
advised to contact Marine Atlantic's reservation office at
1-800-341-7981 for information on crossing times.
