Canada Games Women's Soccer Team Playing in Nova Scotia Newfoundland's Canada Games Women's Soccer team is off to Nova Scotia Friday to play three games this weekend against two of the top senior women's teams in eastern Canada. In Halifax on Friday, our girls play Halifax Dunbrack, and on Saturday and Sunday they play a two game series against Forest Hills United.

In assessing the upcoming weekend, head coach Ed Arnott says: "These matches will be a real test for us as they are our first games of the year and both of the Nova Scotia teams are very good. They both have a half dozen or more games under their belts already and both are currently undefeated in the Maritime Senior Women's Soccer League, a league which includes both the PEI and Nova Scotia Canada Games teams."

The Newfoundland team will play in Ontario next weekend as they continue their preparations for the Canada Games. As well, the team hopes to play several exhibition games against teams in the St. John's Senior Women's League.
