Pepsi Juvenile B Boys Provincial Championship

On April 18 and 19 the towns of Carmanville, Musgrave Harbour and Lumsden will be hosting the Pepsi Provincial Juvenile B Boys Volleyball Championships. Games will be played at Carmanville School Complex, Gill Memorial and Lumsden School Complex. The tournament will see 15 teams from around the province battle it out for the championship. The teams will be divided up into three divisions with a round-robin format to be played within each division. The top two teams in each division will advance to the playoffs. Teams ranked first and second will advance to the semi- finals, with teams ranked three to six playing in the quarter-final round. Divisional play will get underway on Friday, April 18, at 4:30 p.m. and will continue on Saturday at 9 a.m. The playoffs will take place on Saturday after the completion of divisional play. The playoffs will start around 2 p.m. with quarter-final rounds, followed by the semi-finals, and then the bronze and gold medal matches. Playoffs will be held at Carmanville School Complex and Gill Memorial. The bronze and gold medal matches will be played at Gill Memorial.

The teams that will be competing at this tournament are Eastern Selects (Mount Pearl), Carmanville Loopers, CBS Sabres, Riverwood Loopers, CBN Knights, Midget Loopers, Glovertown Eagles, Smallwood Academy (Gambo), St. Anne's (Conne River), Leo Burke (Bishops Falls), Lumsden Loopers, William Mercer (Dover), Lester Pearson (Wesleyville), O'Donel Patriots (Mount Pearl), St. Peter's Academy (Benoits Cove).
