The following is being distributed at the request of Sport Newfoundland and Labrador:

Pepsi Juvenile A Boys Provincial Volleyball Championship

On April 11 and 12 the town of Pasadena will be hosting the Pepsi Juvenile A Boys Provincial Volleyball Championship. Games will be played at Pasadena Academy. The tournament will see four teams compete in a round robin format with all teams making the playoffs. Action will get under way on Friday at 5 p.m. and will continue on Saturday at 9 a.m. The playoff will start around 11 a.m. with the semi-final matches. The bronze medal match to follow at 2 p.m. The winner of the tournament will earn the right to travel to the National Juvenile Championships scheduled for New Brunswick in May.

The teams that will be competing will be the Humber Volleyball Club (Pasadena), Labrador West, Bishop White Barons (Port Rexton), and the Roncalli Cardinals (Avondale). This tournament will see quite a few of the best high school volleyball players that our province has to offer.
