Pepsi Junior Men's Provincial Volleyball Championship

Canada Games team captured the Pepsi Junior Men's Volleyball Championship held in Avondale this past weekend. Canada Games were in first place after the round robin which gave them the bye to the final, they were followed by the CBN Knights, Roncalli Cardinals, and the Saltwater Hens. In the semi-final CBN Knights defeated Roncalli by 15-4, and 15-9 to set up the final. The final saw the Knights take the first game 15-12, but Canada Games rallied to take the next two games 15-7, and 15-12 to claim the championship. Canada Games earn the right to travel to the National Junior Championships being held in Alberta.

Players who were selected to the all-star team were Dean Bailey (Saltwater Hens), Corey Alcock (Roncalli), Pat Lake (Canada Games), Matthew Dowden (Canada Games), Mike Hayes (CBN Knights), and Adam Fowler (CBN Knights). The most spirited player award went to Richard Butt of Canada Games.
