The following is being distributed at the request of Sport Newfoundland and Labrador:

Twenty-two gymnasts from five clubs across the province will represent Newfoundland and Labrador at the Atlantics Gymnastics Championships at University College of Cape Breton in Sydney, Nova Scotia on April 26.

Samantha Bailey, Paul Hendry, Adam Newhook, and Michael Ryan from Campia Gymnastics Club, Michele Soucy from Gander Academy, Chantelle Bursey from Labrador City, and Carly Harding, Jennifer Nolan, and Courtney Robbins of the CBS will be competing. Cygnus Gymnastics Club will be represented by Deborah Murphy, Jennifer Rice, Hannah Moffatt, Susan Farewell, Lesley Bautista, Nicole Pink, Melissa Hussey, Lacey Haines, Nina Varsava, Adam Paul, Aaron Coward, Stephen Coward, and David Bowdon.

The team will be coached by Shelley Stead (CBS), Denise Ridgley and Rod Hounsell (Cygnus), and Kevin Campbell (Campia). Lorna Farewell of Gymnastics Newfoundland and Labrador (GNL) is the team manager.

GNL will also be sending five judges to the meet. These are Cathy Dornan, Karen Gosse, Michelle Hendry, Dave Copeland, and Jeff Mouland. Club coaches attending will be Joanne Janes of Gander and Lisa Hendry from Campia.
