Travel Senior `A' Rankings for 1996/97 Season

Badminton Newfoundland and Labrador released Black Knight/Harvey's Travel Senior 'A' Rankings for 1996/97 season on Tuesday, April 8.

Sean Ellis, Mike Alexander (Jr.), Sonu Wadhwa, Daniel Paradis and Anand Irrinki were ranked 1-5, in that order, in men's singles. Claudia Baggs, Nori Bradley and Viola LeCoure ranked 1-3, in that order, in ladies singles, with Jennifer Goulding, Lisa Hounsell and Rosemary Forsey tied for fourth place.

In men's doubles the top five players for the 1996/97 season were Anand Irrinki, Sean Ellis, Mike Alexander (Jr.), Beenu Wadhwa and Sonu Wadhwa, respectively. In women's doubles there was a six way tie for the first rank between Claudia Baggs, Jennifer Goulding, Lisa Hounsell, Nori Bradley, Viola LeCoure and Rosemary Forsey.

Shane Villeneuve and Jamie Payne ranked 1 and 2 respectively, in mixed doubles (male) and Eliza Briffet, Nori Bradley and Dianne Jenniex tied for first place in mixed doubles (female).
