The following is being distributed at the request of Newfoundland and Labrador High School Athletic Federation:

Milk to sponsor high school sports

The Newfoundland and Labrador High School Athletic Foundation would like to announce its newest corporate sponsor. The Newfoundland and Labrador School Milk Foundation and the Dairy Farmers of Newfoundland and Labrador have come together with the High School Athletic Federation to promote both high school sports and the benefits of milk. Both groups are eager to become a presence on the high school sports scene with help from ZAP, the School Milk Foundation mascot to do so.

High School Athletic Federation president, Kevin Pittman is very pleased with the new partnership. "Milk and high school sports go hand in hand and it's not hard to see the positive benefits of this sponsorship for both organizations. The nutritional benefits of milk will help our students to grow athletically as well as academically. Our association prides ourselves in dealing with sponsors who can directly benefit the student-athletes of Newfoundland and Labrador. In these difficult economic times, corporate sponsors are needed and very much appreciated and we look forward to a long and prosperous relationship with the School Milk Foundation and the Dairy Farmers of Newfoundland and Labrador.
