NOTE TO EDITORS:
Charles J. Furey, Minister of Mines and Energy, will hold a news conference on Friday, September 19 at 11:15 a.m. to release the results of the Copper Concentrate Smelter Viability Study completed by Hatch Associates Ltd. The news conference will be held on the lower level of the Natural Resources Building, 50 Elizabeth Avenue, St. John's. Mr. Furey will be joined by Dr. Weldon Thoburn and Bob Kennedy of Hatch Associates Ltd.
