Appointment of Corrections Official

Superintendent of Prisons Don Saunders is pleased to announce the appointment of Robert S. Jones as Assistant Superintendent (Officer-in- Charge) at the West Coast Correctional Centre.

Mr. Jones has served in this position on a temporary basis since April of this year. Through his career Mr. Jones has held a number of positions, including: security specialist with the United States Air Force; correctional officer in Massachusetts; Lieutenant at the Labrador Correctional Centre; and Captain at the Corner Brook City Lockup.
