The Select Committee of the House of Assembly struck on December 2, 1997 to enquire into and report upon the arming policy of the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary will be holding public hearings as follows:

Sunday, January 18

Monday, January 19
Churchill Falls Inn - Churchill Falls

Monday, January 26
Glynmill Inn - Corner Brook

Wednesday, January 28
Worsley Park Senior Citizens' Centre - Chamberlains Road, Conception Bay South

Monday, February 2
St. David's Softball Complex - St. David's Avenue, Mount Pearl

Wednesday, February 4
House of Assembly - St. John's

Thursday, February 5
House of Assembly - St. John's

All meetings will start at 7 p.m.

Anyone who wishes to make representation at one of the hearings is asked to notify the clerk not later than January 12, 1998.
