NOTE TO EDITORS:
Today (Friday, July 11), Premier Brian Tobin will be presented with a gift for the people of Newfoundland and Labrador by Joe Sala, President of the Italian Association of Terra Nova. A painting, "History in the Future", by visiting Italian artist Guilio Belluz, will serve as a permanent remembrance of the strong ties between Italy and the province. Also in attendance for the presentation will be Italian Honourary Counsel, Guido Del Rizzo.
This event will take place at 10:15 a.m. today in the 8th Floor Boardroom, Office of the Premier, East Block, Confederation Building. Media representatives are invited to attend.
