The following is being distributed at the request of the Conference of Atlantic Premiers:
16th Session of the Conference of Atlantic Premiers 96th Session of the Council of Maritime Premiers
NOTE TO EDITORS:
Premier Brian Tobin will host and chair the 16th session of the Conference of Atlantic Premiers to be held in St. John's on May 26, 1997. Premiers Frank McKenna, John Savage and Patrick Binns will be in attendance.
The 96th session of the Council of Maritime Premiers will also be held, chaired by Premier Frank McKenna.
The meetings will commence at 9 a.m. on Monday, May 26 at the Battery Hotel, 100 Signal Hill Road in St. John's.
A photo opportunity will be available from 10:50 - 11:00 a.m. in the Riverhead Room. A news conference is scheduled for 3 p.m. on May 26 in the Gallery Room of the Battery Hotel. Following the news conference, releases will be distributed over the provincial wire services. Media will also be able to download all releases from the provincial WWW sites.
The Media Working Room is located in the Brig Room and will be available for 8:30 a.m. on Monday, May 26.
